BURNSVILLE, Minn. – Augustana softball player Mary Pardo has been named the NSIC Player of the Week after helping lead the Vikings to a 6-0 record over the past week.

Pardo recorded a 1.579 slugging percentage while cracking seven home runs. Her batting average of .474 gave her nine hits in 19 at bats. In the Vikings' 13-5 win over Winona State this past Tuesday, she hit three home runs to tie the school record for most home runs in a game.

For the season, Pardo is hitting .375 with an NSIC-leading 14 home runs.

The No. 14 ranked Vikings play host to Sioux Falls on Tuesday with a doubleheader at Sherman Park slated for 3 p.m. and 5 p.m.
