SIOUX FALLS, S.D. – Augustana men's basketball head coach
Tom Billeter is pleased to announce the addition of Ryan Miller to the Augustana men's basketball program. Miller joins the Vikings as a graduate transfer from Grand View.

"Ryan had an outstanding career at Grand View and was very well coached by Denis Schaefer," Billeter said. "He attained All-America status his senior season, leading his team to the NAIA National Tournament.

"He scored 28 points against us in November and when he made it known he was graduate transferring, we couldn't call fast enough! Coach Schaefer was fantastic throughout this process as were Ryan's parents. His toughness and leadership will be a great addition to our team." Â Â

Miller, hailing from Walker, Iowa, earned All-America honors after averaging 20.7 points per game while making 45.3 percent of his field-goal attempts. Over his career with the 'other' Vikings, Miller tallied 1,446 points, a mark that ranks eighth all-time on the Grand View scoring list. He totaled 141 made 3-point field goals, a tally that puts him 10
th all-time at Grand View.

In addition to his All-America honor, Miller garnered Heart of America Athletic Conference First Team All-Conference accolades, totaling 513 points, 134 rebounds, 102 assists and 37 steals throughout the regular season.

In that aforementioned games against Augustana, Miller went 10-of-17 from the field while scoring 28 of GV's points while also securing eight rebounds.

 Miller joins a recruiting class that has now reached seven for AU with Brady Helgren, Caden Hinker, Jackson Loge, Ayden McDonald, Sam Rensch and Hayden Arndt all joining the 2022 class in November.
