INDIANAPOLIS – The NSIC Champion and NSIC Tournament Champion Augustana softball team is headed to Edmond, Oklahoma, for the NCAA Division II Central Regional. Play begins Thursday with the No. 3 seed Vikings facing No. 6 seed Arkansas Tech on Thursday. 
 
Augustana is 47-8 on the season after claiming the NSIC regular season and postseason championships. Augustana has won 28 of its last 29 contests.
 
Arkansas Tech is 39-17 on the year and is coming off a Great American Conference Tournament Championship. The other teams partaking in the Edmond, Oklahoma, pod is the host school, No. 2 Central Oklahoma, and No. 7 Southern Arkansas.
