SIOUX FALLS, S.D. – The Augustana soccer team moved to 9-4-3 on the season with a 3-0 win against MSU Moorhead Friday afternoon at Morstad Field. Augustana, in the under consideration teams for NCAA Tournament action, did not allow a single Dragon shot in the second half when MSUM had the wind at its back.
The Vikings racked up 23 shots, placing 10 on frame. Goalkeeper
Jillian Barkus collected her eighth shutout on the season. That marks a shutout in 50 percent of her games played.
Match Highlights
GOAL (AU) 3' – The first goal of the game came courtesy of
Paige Bracker's right foot. The redshirt-freshman took a pass from
Hope Korte on the right side of the box and sent it to the left side of the goal.
GOAL (AU) 17' –
Annika Bard made it 2-0 Augustana with her 25-yard strike from straight out. She pummeled the ball just under the cross bar for her fourth goal of the season.
SHOT (AU) 27' – Bard nearly added a second goal but saw her shot go low and into the arms of the Dragon goalkeeper.
GOAL (AU) 69' –

Delaney Kost. Kost made a pass from 30 yards out, nearing the right side of the field to Douglas, where she settled the ball, turned and fired from the penalty mark spot inside the box.
SHOT (AU) 74' –
Sierra Barkus sent a shot sailing to the upper left 90 but saw her shot saved by the MSUM goalkeeper.
