ORLANDO, Fla. – The Augustana men's tennis squad picked up two wins in Orlando, Florida, this weekend against Michigan Tech, 4-2, and John Carroll, 7-0. The Vikingssplit their weekend with two losses against No. 3 Saint Leo, 6-1, and Embry-Riddle, 7-0. The Vikings move to a 5-6 overall record.

"It was a great Spring Break trip for both teams this week," said Augustana head coach Marc Kurtz. "With the men, we had a great week and 2-2 playing very strong opponents. We had an excellent 4-2 win over Michigan Tech and a 7-0 win over John Carroll. This week we had our first ever national ranked individuals as Henry Dornbusch and Cade Damgaard are ranked #41 in the nation in doubles play. They had another strong week of results going 3-1 and they beat No. 28 Saint Leo.

"Overall, both teams had an excellent Spring Break with great team and individual wins. I love the fight that we have on both teams as we never give up and we are always in every match. These matches against strong competition will prepare us for the remainder of our season as we get ready to play important conference matches."
