SIOUX FALLS, S.D. – Seven hundred days. That is how long it will have been since the Augustana softball team has played on a field named Bowden Field when it steps on the turf of the new Bowden Field on Sunday. The Vikings welcome Minnesota State and Concordia-St. Paul with a pair of doubleheaders beginning at noon on Sunday and Monday, respectively.

About the Mavericks
Minnesota State, the runner-up to Augustana the past two years in the NSIC standings, is 12-8 on the season with a 1-1 record in the NSIC. In the conference opener, Minnesota State fell 8-5 to Concordia-St. Paul before rebounding for a 5-4 win in the nightcap of the doubleheader.
Ellie Tallman holds a .441 batting average to lead MSU while totaling four triples. McKayla Armbruster is statistically the top pitcher with a 1.46 ERA and 7-5 record in 10 starts. Sophia Del Vecchio, who owns eight starts, is 4-1 but really plays to contact with just 16 strikeouts in 44 innings pitched.
About the Golden Bears
Concordia-St. Paul enters the weekend with a 15-12 record while sitting at 1-1 in the NSIC after splitting with Minnesota State. Annalise Scamehorn leads CSP with a .328 average while Clara Heislen leads the way with seven home runs.
In the circle, Erica McCullough has made eight starts while holding a 4-3 record and 3.22 ERA. Bryanna Olson, who has made 14 starts with a 3.70 ERA, is the wins leader with a 10-6 record.
About the Vikings
Augustana has found its stride as of late, winning seven-straight games after opening the NSIC campaign with a sweep of Wayne State this past Tuesday. The Vikings have won 12 of their last 14 games and sit at 15-8 on the year.

Andrea Cain has been on a tear as of late belting three of her four home runs over the past two games.
Hailey Houston has won six-straight starts in the circle for Augustana and is the reigning NSIC Pitcher of the Week. She's pitched back-to-back shutouts, tossing a seven-inning complete game on March 21 and followed up with six innings of work on Tuesday against Wayne State. Over those two games, she has allowed just five hits while her ERA has fallen to 2.64.
Spectator Entrance
Parking for Bowden Field is to take place in the parking lot for the Elmen Center off of Grange avenue. From there, fans can walk to the west side of the Elmen Center, between Ronken Field and the Elmen Center, where fans can make an entrance at the gate. The ticket booth for Bowden Field is located on the east side of Bowden Field before entering the grandstands on the south side. There will be no entrance to Bowden Field from 33
rd street or Lake street.
