SIOUX FALLS, S.D. – Augustana's
Torri Chute and
Delaney Young have been named to two All-America Teams, both announced Wednesday.

Chute garnered First Team All-America honors from D2CCA and Second Team All-America accolades from the National Fastpitch Coaches Association (NFCA). Young earned second team honors from the NFCA and third team accolades from the NFCA.

Chute earns All-America honors for the third time in her career from the NFCA and second time from the D2CCA. Young is an All-America honoree for the first time in her career.

Hailing from Woodbury, Minnesota, Chute was the 2023 NSIC Player of the Year after batting .444. She raked in 19 doubles while holding a .526 on-base percentage.

Young is a native of Woodbury, Minnesota, and earned First Team All-NSIC honors along with her all-region and All-America accolades. She concludes her career as Augustana's all-time leader in fielding percentage at .996. Amongst her .412 batting average as a senior, Young belted 18 doubles and eight home runs. Most impressive, she struck out just five times in 2023.

The duo helped Augustana to its third-straight NSIC Championship this past season while Young's career ends with an overall record of 215-47, three NSIC Championships, two NSIC Tournament Championships and the 2019 National Championship.
