AUSTIN, Texas – The Augustana softball team has a pair of repeat Academic All-America honorees as
Gracey Brink and
Delaney Young were named to the prestigious CSC (formerly CoSIDA) Academic All-America Teams. Brink is now a two-time honoree to the first team while Young is a third-team member for the second-straight season.

Brink, hailing from Rapid City, South Dakota, becomes Augustana softball's first-ever two-time first team honoree. The Vikings' catcher earned her way to a pair of all-region teams this season after batting .352 with nine home runs, 10 doubles and 38 RBI.

Brink owns a 3.95 GPA while majoring in exercise science.

Young, a native of Cottage Grove, Minnesota, holds a 3.70 GPA in business administration. She earned her first-career All-America accolades as she is a second team honoree from the NFCA and third team member from the D2CCA.

She batted .412 as a senior with 18 doubles and eight home runs in 2023. She started all 54 games for the NSIC Champions and ends her career as Augustana's all-time fielding-percentage leader at .996.

The duo brings Augustana softball's Academic All-America honors to 13 dating back to 1989.
