SIOUX FALLS, S.D. – Augustana head soccer coach Brandon Barkus has announced the addition of Terry Kampa as the Vikings' full-time assistant coach. Kampa joins AU after spending the past three years in the club realm in Sioux Falls. Previously to club soccer, Kampa served as a head coach at the collegiate level.
 
"I am absolutely thrilled to welcome Terry and his family to Augustana soccer," Barkus said. "Terry is a tremendous teacher and fantastic at developing players for the next level. I believe his skill set will enhance our program to compete at a much-higher level immediately."
 
From 2017 through 2021, Kampa was the head coach of Presentation College in Aberdeen, South Dakota. Prior to his appointment as head coach, he served as a volunteer assistant in 2016.
 
Following his time at PC, Kampa served as the 2005 head boys coach for Dakota Olympic Development Program while also coaching the 2009 boys team at the 2022 regional. He then transitioned to the Dakota Alliance Soccer Club coaching the 2009 Premier girls team.
 
Terry and his wife, Ericka, reside in Tea, South Dakota.
