BURNSVILLE, Minn. – Augustana football student-athlete Devon Jones has been named the Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference Special Teams Player of the Week. The honor is the first of Jones' career.

- Set a school record for longest punt return when he went 85 yards to score a touchdown in the Vikings win over UMary
- Broke the 1967 record of 80 yards
- His touchdown return was the only special teams touchdown of the week for the NSIC
- He returned three punts for 112 yards, an average of 37.3 yards per return
- Ranks third nationally in punt return yards after one week of play
