After getting their lead trimmed to 41-35, AU waded troubled waters by canceling out BSU buckets. Leading by five, Aadland scored from the paint on a feed from
CJ Adamson to take a 51-44 lead into the fourth quarter.
That basket jumpstarted an offense that went on to see Jewett and Sees score the next five points and take a 56-44 lead less than a minute into the fourth quarter. After a Beaver 3-pointer, Sees scored four in a row before an Aadland free throw gave them a 61-47 lead with six minutes remaining.
With under four minutes to go, the Vikings cashed in on an
Aby Phipps layup and Rensch free throws to take a 70-54 lead with 3:25 to play in the game. BSU scored the final six points of the game, bringing the game to its final score.
