SIOUX FALLS, S.D. – After tying up the game 1-1 in the first half, Madelyn White struck again with a solo shot to seal the win for the Augustana soccer team on Friday night, defeating Wayne State 3-1 at Morstad Field.
 
White had herself a night with two goals—netting each shot she took—and an assist to help Laina Souerdyke score the first collegiate goal of her career.
 
Augustana outshot the Wildcats 10-4 and 9-2 shot on goal. Sydney Hage had three shots on goal as Delaney Kost, Macie Haggerty and Audrey Parnell each had one apiece. Taya Baker got the victory in the net with one save on the night.
