Kaufman and Molloy Join Augustana Athletics

SIOUX FALLS, S.D. – Augustana Vice President for Athletics Josh Morton has announced the addition of two members to the Vikings' athletic administration office. Chris Kaufman joins as the Assistant Athletics Director for Ticketing & Annual Giving and Tyler Molloy joins as the Athletics Event Coordinator.
 
Kaufman arrives in Sioux Falls following five years at Utah State University in Logan, Utah as the University Director of Ticket Operations & Sales. He was responsible for the development and execution of all ticketed events at USU, including athletics, fine arts and campus events while also working with budget and expense reconciliation, the creation of the Utah State Athletics Handbook and business services coordination and consultation.  
 
He also served as the Athletics Ticketing & Operations Assistant and then the Coordinator of Ticket Operations & Sales at the University of South Dakota in Vermillion. During his combined eight seasons, Kaufman ran all ticketing-related activities within the athletic department and worked closely on sales alongside the development staff.  
 
Kaufman earned his bachelor's degree in sports management from Minnesota State University-Mankato before completing his master's degree in organizational management with an emphasis in sport management from Wayne State College.
 
Molloy comes to Augustana after serving as the event/operations graduate assistant at the University of Wisconsin-Parkside in Kenosha, Wis. During his time, he assisted in the oversight and coordination of Ranger events, oversaw the hiring, scheduling and management of a student staff and corresponded with visiting teams and event officials.
 
He also joins with experience as a stadium operations and field management intern with the Rockford Rivets in Rockford, Ill. and was most recently a clubhouse assistant in Milwaukee, Wis. with the Milwaukee Brewers, where he worked on-field during games and off-field for the players and coaches.
 
Molloy completed his bachelor's degree in sport management at UW-Parkside before earning his master's degree in sport management in May 2024.
 
Both Kaufman and Molloy began their duties at Augustana in October.
