SIOUX FALLS, S.D. – Augustana soccer (8-4-3, 7-2-2 NSIC) hits the road for weekend matches on Friday and Sunday against Northern State and MSU Moorhead. Ahead of the weekend affairs, Augustana was one of five NSIC teams named in the first round of the NCAA Women's Soccer Regional Rankings.

The Wolves
Northern State (6-5-4, 5-3-3 NSIC) sits eighth in the NSIC standings coming into the weekend with a 4-1-2 record on its home pitch. Megan Fastenau leads the Wolves with six goals and two assists for a total of 14 points. Fastenau has scored three game-winning goals and a .600 shots-on-goal percentage. 

Alexus Townsend has backstopped NSU in 11 games with 10 starts and holds a record of 5-2-3. 

The Dragons 
MSU Moorhead (1-12-2, 1-9-1 NSIC) rides a four-game losing streak into the weekend with its lone conference win over Winona State on Sep. 27. 

The Dragons are led by Madalynn Hopkins with two goals on 23 shots for four points. Sara Alfrida Munk Nielson, Becca Cook and Blayke Hurley are tied for second on the team with three points each. 

The Vikings
Augustana sits third in the NSIC standings behind Minnesota State and St. Cloud State with a win percentage of .633. The Vikings went 1-0-1 this past weekend with a 3-0 win over Minnesota Crookston and a 1-1 tie against Bemidji State. 

Madelyn White propels the Augustana offense with three goals and four assists for 10 points. Ally Hamski and Audrey Parnell have also netted three or more goals this season. Goalkeeper Taya Baker holds a record of 5-0-1 with four goals against.
