Viking Soccer Hosts Minot State Monday in Postseason Action

SIOUX FALLS, S.D. – Third-seeded Augustana will play host to sixth-seeded Minot State on Monday, Nov. 11 at 2 p.m. on Morstad Field.

The Last Time
AU and Minot State faced off in early October in Minot, North Dakota where both teams played to a 0-0 tie. Augustana's all-time series record against the Beavers in 10-4-1.

The Beavers 
Minot State (10-3-4, 8-3-3 NSIC) closed out the regular season with a 4-0 win over MSU Moorhead. Anna Miotto, Elena Pacheco and Illiana Rivera recorded goals in the win. 

Miotto leads the Beavers with 16 points by way of seven goals and two assists. Miotto is joined by Mia Lewis and Rivera with seven points each. 

Siriana Gudino has started in all 17 games for the Beavers and holds a save percentage of .897 and goals against average of .47. 

The Vikings
Augustana finished out the NSIC regular season last Thursday with a 6-0 win over Southwest Minnesota State. Sierra Barkus, Macie Haggerty, Zoey Mandery, Erika Leeman and Morgan Mancuso tallied goals in the win. The Vikings finished with a record of 10-4-4 and a conference record of 9-2-3. 

Madelyn White, Ally Hamski, Audrey Parnell, Haggerty and Mancuso lead the Vikings with four goals each. White, leads the team with four goals and seven assists for 15 points. 

Taya Baker and Aaliyah Matthews have shared time between the pipes for Augustana. Matthews has started in nine of 11 games played while Baker has started in all nine of her played games. Baker holds a record of 7-0-2 with a goals-against average of .60 and a save percentage of .861.
