PLYMOUTH, Mich. – The Augustana hockey team downed the United States National Team Development Program in exhibition play Friday night inside USA Hockey Arena, 4-1. Augustana jumped out to an early lead and cruised to victory off four different goal scorers. 

Augustana jumped out to an early lead in the first period as Hunter Bischoff smashed in a one-timer out in front off passes from Brett Meerman and Luke Mobley. Bischoff's first-period goal boosted momentum into the Vikings offense who outshot the Development Program 8-6 through the first 20 minutes of action. 

Simon Falk added his name to the scoresheet in the opening minutes of the second period after he ripped in a wrist shot from the top of the circle over the glove of Harrison Boettiger. Falk's second-period goal was followed by Quinn Rudrud who tipped in a shot from Brady Ziemer. Conrad Dondrk cut Augustana's lead to two after he netted the Development Program's only goal of the game with just over two minutes to play in the second. 

Owen Bohn found the back of the night eight minutes into the final frame to seal the deal for Augustana. Bohn stripped the puck from the USNTDP's defensemen to slide the puck by Boettiger. The Development Program pulled the goaltender to in the final minutes of play but Augustana stood tall to score the exhibition win.

• Bischoff and Will Svenddal tallied two points each. Bischoff recorded a goal and an assist while Svenddal collected two assists. 
• 10 Vikings totaled points in Friday's win.
• Josh Kotai recorded 19 saves on 20 shots.

• Bischoff found the back of the net first with a one-timer off passes from Meerman and Mobley. 
• Falk netted Augustana's second goal of the game off passes from Colton Friesen and Svenddal. 
• Rudrud tipped in Ziemer's shot to push Augustana's lead to three. Svenddal tallied the secondary assist. 
• Fondrk cut Augustana's lead to two in the final minutes of the second period. Jack Murtagh and Cole McKinney collected assists on the goal.
• Bohn pushed Augustana's lead to three with assists from Bischoff and Nace Langus.
