HOLLAND, Mich. –
Pedro Borin highlighted the second day for the GLIAC Championships as he placed eighth in the 100 fly Saturday in Holland, Michigan. The Augustana men's swimming & diving team own 99 points, just 7.5 behind sixth place Davenport after two days of competition.

Borin swam a season-best 48.81 in the prelims then touched the wall in 48.87 in the finals. He garnered 11 valuable points in the event for AU.
Jackson Dircks swam the 'B' Final, placing 13
th overall in a time of 49.30.

The 400 medley relay team consisting of
Aeson Akins,
Mason Kauffeld, Jackson DIrcks and
Isaac Rokusek demolished the school record in the event, clocking in at 3:18.22. The previous record sat at 3:21.72 at last season's GLIAC Championship. The team finished in sixth place to give the Vikings 26 points.

The third day will prove to be super on Sunday as prelims begin at 9 a.m. and finals at 4:30 p.m.
