Head Coach Kaelyn Cowan's Post-Meet Thoughts
"We always love to have the Falcons in town. Coach Koenig is just an awesome person to compete against. We had an injury today in the middle of our acro heat and she was pulled for the competition. What you saw after that is one of our main tops,
Olivia Mcilravy, (switch out). The team stepped up throughout this meet and took over a lot of different events.Â
Â
"Honestly, the score doesn't show it, but it's the most proud I've ever been of this team. You probably couldn't even tell if you didn't know what had occurred. I feel they really faced adversity super well today, and I feel like if I just say one sentence, it's just that 'I'm so proud of them for stepping up in the midst of adversity'."
Notes
- Augustana won all six of the events in the victory over the Falcons.
- This was Augustana's seventh win in program history.Â
- Augustana garnered 19 heat wins on the evening, the most in program history.
- The third time the Vikings have swept all six events.Â
