YOUNGSVILLE, La. – The Augustana softball team quickly added a pair of games to make up for the contests lost Saturday in Youngsville, Louisiana. The Vikings concluded the Mardi Gras Invitational with a 7-2 win over Southeastern Oklahoma State. Earlier in the day, AU fell 1-0 to No. 24 Mississippi College.

Â
Game One: No. 24 Mississippi College 1, Augustana 0
A sacrifice fly in the third inning was the only offense in the game, which went the direction of Mississippi College. In the inning, MC singled into left field then advanced on an error to third base. That set up Emily Rigney for the sacrifice fly.
Â
Grace Glanzer, Augustana's starting pitcher, tossed the complete game by giving up just four hits while striking out six. The lone blemish was the unearned run in the third inning.
Â
In a nod to the Choctaws pitcher, Madison Jenkins tossed all seven innings, striking out five and walking four, but did not allow a hit.

Ashton Dorman double. Buckman then touched home plate on a
Nicole Bellis sacrifice fly.
Â
Dorman gave the Vikings the lead at 2-1 as

Liz Dierks, boosting Augustana's advantage to 3-1. The final run of the inning came courtesy of Dierks as she touched home plate on a passed ball.
Â
The Vikings' lead grew to 6-1 in the bottom of the sixth as
