About the Bears
Baylor, the eight-time defending NCATA National Champions, has won 33-straight meets dating back to the end of March in 2021. Most recently, the No. 1 Bears topped No. 4 Gannon 278.715-275.555.

In common opponents, the Bears surpassed Mary Hardin-Baylor 279.870-272.465, while also topping Tuesday's AU opponent, Texas Lutheran.

About the Bulldogs
Texas Lutheran is 1-4 on the season having picked up a win last time out against East Texas Baptist, 240.570-208.400. The win avenged a loss earlier in the season to ETBU while the Bulldogs have another common opponent with AU, Mary Hardin-Baylor. TLU will also compete in the NCATA Division II Postseason Invitational in early April.

About the Vikings
The first-ever Senior Night will honor Kay Greene a senior from Triangle, Virginia. Greene has been one of the most consistent performers for AU while earning a leadership award from the program last season.

No. 13 Augustana is 4-1 on the year with its lone loss to No. 11 Mary Hardin-Baylor. In their two years of existence, Augustana's only losses have come to nationally-ranked foes while holding a program record of 9-3.

In their last meet, Augustana defeated East Texas Baptist, 268.270-224.395. In addition to the program-record 268.270 points in the win, Augustana also totaled 95.520 points in the team event to set a new event record. The Vikings captured all six events while nearing program record scores in the acro and pyramid.

Fun Fact of Saturday's  Meet
Augustana head coach Kaelyn Cowan is a Baylor alum where she won the NCATA National Championship from 2015-17. Under current Baylor head coach, and catalyst for acrobatics & tumbling as a sport, Felcia Mulkey, Cowan earned a pair of All-America honors then was an assistant coach while winning a national title in 2019 and 2021 (with the 2020 season disrupted due to COVID-19).
