SIOUX FALLS, S.D. – For the second-straight meet, the No. 13 Augustana acrobatics & tumbling team set a program record for total score while also setting a record in the team event. The Vikings, who were hosting the No. 1 ranked team in the NCATA, dropped just their second meet of the season in a 281.600-269.355 loss to Baylor. The Bears, visiting Sioux Falls for the first time, have won the last eight NCATA National Championships.

Augustan celebrated Senior Night as
Kay Greene was honored as Augustana's first-ever senior. Greene joined the Vikings from Chowan University for the program's inaugural season in 2023.

- The 269.355 surpassed last week's 268.270 when AU topped East Texas Baptist University.
- Augustana also surpassed its team event high score by more than three points with the 97.53.
- Augustana recorded a program-best score in the toss with 27.500 points, including a heat win in the third heat at 9.600-9.550.
- The Vikings claimed the tumbling heat victory in compulsory, outscoring the Bears 8.400-8.000.
- Augustana, who owns nine wins in its two-year program history, has only dropped four meets. All four have been to nationally-ranked foes including No. 1, No. 4 and the No. 5 ranked teams.
- No. 1 Baylor was the second ranked team to come to Sioux Falls, joining No. 4 Oregon in the Vikings' inaugural meet in 2023.

Augustana closes its home portion of its second season on Tuesday with a 6 p.m. meet with Texas Lutheran. The event will continue to take place on the home mats inside the Elmen Center in Sioux Falls. Following the home meet, the Vikings close the regular season on April 6 at Concordia University (Wis.).
