BURNSVILLE, Minn. – The Augustana softball team swept the NSIC weekly awards Tuesday. Torri Chute was named the NSIC Player of the Week while Grace Glanzer was named the NSIC Pitcher of the Week. This marks the second weekly honor for Glanzer while this is the first of 2023-24 for Chute.
 
#10 Torri Chute (C/INF, 5-6, Sr., L/L, Woodbury, Minn. / Stillwater HS) – Augustana
- Batted .526 with four home runs and four doubles as part of her 10 hits
- Recorded 13 RBI
- Struck out just once in 19 at-bats
- Had a three homer run game in the Vikings win over Northwest Missouri State
- Of those three home runs, two were grand slams, one in the first inning and one in the second inning
- Finished that game 4-for-4 with four extra base hits
- Set a school record with 10 RBI in that contest
 
 
#50 Grace Glanzer (RHP, 5-3, Sr., R/R, Sioux Falls, S.D. / Roosevelt HS) – Augustana
- Went 3-0 with a 0.00 ERA
- Gave up just four hits and one walk over 19 innings
- Held opponents to an .065 average
- Struck out 26 hitters
- Pitched two complete-game shutouts and two one-hit contests
- Named NSIC Pitcher of the Week for the second time this season (2/5/24)
