SIOUX FALLS, S.D. – Augustana men's hockey (12-18-4) closes out its inaugural season presented by First PREMIER Bank / PREMIER Bankcard with two exhibition games against the United States National Team Development Program inside Midco Arena this weekend.

The Friday and Saturday series is set for 7:07 p.m. and 6:07 p.m. inside Midco Arena. Both games will be streamed on FloHockey. 

USNTDP
The development program comes into Sioux Falls with a 6-8 record against college opponents, beating the likes of Boston University, St. Lawrence, and the University of North Dakota. NTDP is composed of 24 NCAA commits, the schools range from the Big 10, Hockey East, NCHC, and one-lone Independent.

The U.S. has won 11 gold medals at the IIHF World Men's Under-18 Championship with each team composed primarily of NTDP players.

The development program has 396 NHL Draft Picks with five first-overall picks, NHL prominent players who have gone first-overall include Jack Hughes, Auston Matthews, Patrick Kane, Erik Johnson, and Rick DiPietro.

The Vikings
Augustana's own Brady Ziemer will face younger brother Brodie Ziemer this weekend. Brodie, a commit to the University of Minnesota has 43 points in 45 games this season and is posed to be an NHL draft pick this summer.

Ryan Naumovski is one point shy of tying his career-high season point total of 26. The Vikings played in six games than when Naumovski did it with Niagara in 2022-23.

 Zack Rose has been automatic between the pipes to round out his college career. In his last three starts, Rose has only allowed one goal in 176:43 of ice time.

Augustana finished its regular season campaign with a record of 12-18-4 and accomplished three sell-outs in Midco Arena. The Vikings have the 31st-best average attendance in college hockey with an average of 2,968 fans per game or 96.3-percent capacity of Midco Arena.
