SIOUX FALLS, S.D. – Augustana softball is set to celebrate its seniors with a Thursday doubleheader against Minnesota State at Bowden Field to close out the Regular Season. Thursday's game was originally set for Sunday but has been pushed forward due to projected weather. 

First pitch on Thursday is slated for 2 p.m. with the senior celebration to begin between games.

About the Mavericks
Minnesota State (37-13) holds a 17-7 record in the NSIC. The Mavericks are coming off two-straight splits with a 2-1 win and 4-0 loss against Winona State. This past Sunday, MSU opened the day with a 5-1 win before falling 5-2 to Wayne State. 

Ellie Tallman leads the Mavericks with a batting average of .409 through 50 games. At the plate, she recorded 65 hits and has tallied 39 runs. 

Glanna Lara leads the team with seven home runs and a slugging percentage of .547. 

About the Vikings
Augustana (40-13) comes into the week fresh off winning its fourth consecutive NSIC Regular Season Championship after sweeping Winona State and Concordia-St.Paul last weekend. 

Andrea Cain was awarded NSIC Player of the Week after a hot weekend at the plate. Cain homered five times in 22 at-bats and recorded 13 RBIs. She went 11-for-22 at the plate with 11 runs. 

Grace Glanzer is third in the nation in ERA, allowing .72. Glanzer has recorded nine shutouts throughout the season. 

Augustana is fifth in the nation and first in the conference with home runs as the Vikings have blasted home 75. Four Vikings have recorded more then 10-plus home runs with Torri Chute leading the way with 16.
