SIOUX FALLS, S.D. – Augustana Vice President for Athletics Josh Morton has announced the return of Dr. Kimberly Miller as Senior Associate Athletics Director for Compliance / Senior Woman Administrator.

In her previous tenure at Augustana, Miller assisted in many key plans within the university. She worked closely with Morton on strategic plans and goals while monitoring progress and assisted in development strategies in conjunction with the office of Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion to promote the value of diversity, equity, and inclusion in intercollegiate athletics. 

"I am excited to bring Kimberly back to Augustana," said Morton "Her breadth of experience and expertise will be a great asset to our department and university as we continue to execute on the goals outlined in Viking Bold: The Journey to 2030."

Since leaving Augustana, Miller has served as the Director of Athletics at Colorado Mesa University and most recently was the Associate Athletic Director for Compliance at the University of West Georgia.
 
Dr. Miller is a graduate of Winston-Salem State with a degree in Sport Management and obtained her Master of Science from High Point in Sports Studies. She obtained her Doctor of Philosophy in Education from Northcentral University in July of 2017 with a Specialization in Sport Management.
 
Miller begins her duties with Augustana on Monday.
