LOUISVILLE, Ky. – Augustana softball was recognized with 13 selections as Easton/NFCA All-American Scholar-Athletes, the National Fastpitch Coaches Association announced Tuesday. The Vikings join more than 8,000 student-athletes honored from all levels of softball across the nation.
 
In addition to winning the NSIC Championship and Tournament Championship in the 2024 season, Augustana registered a team grade-point average of 3.663 in the classroom, which was the 16^th-best in Division II softball this year. The Vikings finished the season with a 50-15 record, the sixth such season of 50 or more wins under head coach Gretta Melsted.
 
Team GPAs and individual honors are submitted by NFCA member head coaches and recognize the academic prowess of softball teams across the association's membership categories.
