BURNSVILLE, Minn. – Augustana football's Gunnar Hensley has earned his first weekly honor from the NSIC. The sophomore signal caller has been named the NSIC Offensive Player of the Week after leading the Vikings to a 41-7 win over Northern State on Saturday afternoon in his first career start.

- Threw for an NSIC-best 358 yards and tied a conference-high with four passing touchdowns while adding a four-yard receiving touchdown in a 41-7 win over Northern State
- Accounted for all five of his touchdowns in the first half and completed 28 of 35 passes
- Finished his day with an NSIC-best 371 yards of total offense
- Currently leads the NSIC with 288.5 yards per game in conference play and 3.0 touchdowns per game in a pair of games against NSIC foes
