Waco, T.X. –  For the second consecutive season, the Augustana Acrobatics and Tumbling team has earned a spot in the preseason national ranking, sitting at No. 11 in the 2024 NCATA Preseason Coaches' Poll, released Friday morning. The Vikings received 220 points. 

During their second season in 2024, the Vikings finished with a record of 6-2 and a No. 10 national ranking under the direction of head coach Kaelyn Cowan. In the 2025 season, the Vikings will compete against three ranked opponents, No. 3 Gannon, No. 7 Azusa Pacific and No. 12 Hawai'i Pacific. 

The Vikings' season kicks off  Saturday, Feb. 15, on the road against first-year program Missouri State. Augustana opens its home slate against No. 3 Gannon on Mar. 3 and will host the NCATA National Championships for the first time in program history Apr. 24-27 inside the Elmen Center.
