ST. PAUL, Minn. – Hayden Hennen and Leo Bulgakov of Augustana men's hockey were named CCHA Players of the Week, announced by the league Monday afternoon.

Hennen, a defenseman from Hallock, Minnesota earned CCHA Defenseman of the Week for the second time in his career. Hennen tallied two assists and one goal during the weekend sweep over No. 15/16 Arizona State. He combined for four blocked shots and played a crucial role on the blue line to help moves the Vikings to 3-1 on the season. 

Bulgakov garnered CCHA Rookie of the Week after he combined for a three-point weekend that included his first multi-point game. Bulgakov tallied one goal and one assist in last Friday's 4-2 win over the Sun Devils before he added an assist in Saturday's 5-2 win. 

Augustana opens up conference play on the road this weekend as it heads to Bemidji, Minnesota to play Bemidji State. Puck drop is slated for 7:07 and 6:07 p.m. Fans can tune into the action on Midco Sports Plus.
