SIOUX FALLS, S.D. – Women's golf announced the addition of six future Vikings on National Signing Day.
Carrmen Jirele | 5'7 | Owatonna, Minnesota | Owatonna
High School: Carmen enters her senior season as a three-year letter winner and back-to-back all-state honors. She posted a scoring average of 76.08 and was a AAA State Tournament Qualifier and Section 1AAA runner-up. Carmen has won three consecutive Big 9 Conference Championships.
Personal: Carmen is the daughter of Scott and Michelle.
Nora Benson | 5'1 | Long Lake, Minnesota | Orono
High School: Benson enters her senior season as a three-year letter winner. She closed out her junior season with five top-three finishes and tied for 10th at the Section 2AAA Tournament. Last season, she earned all-conference honors and qualified for the state individual meet.
Personal: Nora is the daughter of Brian and Debbie and plans to major in pre-occupational therapy.
Maddie Childs | 5'5 | Mitchell, South Dakota | Mitchell
High School: Childs enters her senior season as a three-year letter winner and has averaged a stroke count of 76.4 across 11 rounds. She placed as a runner-up at the South Dakota AA Girls State Tournament. She earned three consecutive all-state honors.
Personal: Maddie is the daughter of Joe and Mindy and plans to major in exercise science.
Kennedy Mara | 5'8 | Willmar, Minnesota | Willmar
High School: Kennedy enters her senior season as a three-year letter winner and two-year captain. She averaged 77 strokes with a lowest round of 72 in her junior season. She was named all-conference and was a state qualifier.
Personal: Kennedy is the daughter of Bryan and Traci and plans to major in exercise science.
Tatum Gatheridge | 5'3 | Detroit Lakes, Minnesota | Detroit Lakes
High School: Tatum is a three-year letter winner and enters her senior season this Spring as the team captain. During her junior year, she averaged 77.8 strokes and four first-place finishes. She was a first-team all-conference honoree and was named to the 2025 all-state teams.
Personal: Tatum is the daughter of Brian and Melisa and plans to major in psychology.
Jadyn McDonald | 5'10 | Wentworth, South Dakota | Chester
High School: Jadyn McDonald enters her senior season as a three-year letter winner and two-year captain. She finished her junior season with seven wins and finished second in the state championship. She is a two-time region champion.
Personal: Jadyn is the daughter of Jason and Brooke and plans to major in pre-law.
