Azusa, Calif. – The No. 11 Augustana acrobatics & tumbling team kept its strong season rolling, knocking off No. 7 Azusa Pacific 268.740-268.705 on Monday night inside the Felix Event Center. It is the second consecutive win over a top eight team and the second highest point total in program history.

- The 268.740 points is second in program history, less than one point off the record set against Baylor last season.
- The Vikings opened the night with their best compulsory event of the season, giving them a .8 lead through the first event.
- In the acro event, Augustana battled within .2 to keep a lead through two events
- For the third competition in a row, the Vikings saw improvement in the pyramid, jumping to a season-best 29.200 to keep a lead into halftime. 
- Augustana secured a program record 28.900 points in the toss, edging out Azusa Pacific by .250 and surpassing the previous record of 28.450 set last week. 
- The Cougars won five of six tumbling heats to march in front for their first lead of the night. 
- When they were needed the most, the Vikings rose to the top with a season-high 92.590 in the team event to earn the victory
- This was Augustana's 14th win in program history.
