SIOUX FALLS, S.D. – Due to the predicted forecast, Augustana softball's home doubleheader against in-town rival Sioux Falls has been moved to Thursday afternoon at Bowden Field. Game time remains unchanged and is set to begin at 3 p.m.

ABOUT THE COUGARS
Sioux Falls split its four-game week with a sweep of Minnesota Crookston following two losses to Minnesota State. The Cougars now hold an even 15-15 record with a 3-5 conference showing.
 
Savanna Isaacson is batting .421 to lead with 40 hits and 27 RBI on the season. She also holds a team-high four home runs alongside her .726 slugging percentage. Allanah Naumann has stolen 11 bases and Kyra Knudtson adds in 20 RBI with 33 hits.

Augustana holds the 23-4 all-time advantage over Sioux Falls historically. The last doubleheader ended in 8-0 and 12-1 victories for the Vikings on April 10, 2024.
 
ABOUT THE VIKINGS
Augustana continues its homestand following a 3-3 week against Southwest Minnesota State, St. Cloud State and Minnesota Duluth. The Vikings downed the Mustangs 2-0, split 1-1 with the Huskies and dropped to the Bulldogs 0-2.
 
Desi Cuevas holds a .396 batting average with 43 hits to go with her team-high 26 RBI, 16 stolen bases and eight homeruns. Ashton Dorman is close behind with a .347 average with 22 RBI and 25 hits as Andrea Cain holds a slash line of .320/.452/.700 while adding in 32 hits, 22 RBI, 20 walks, 10 doubles and six homers.
 
In 118.2 innings of work, Grace Glanzer has collected 129 strikeouts while holding opponents to a .203 batting average. She's 12-6 in her 18 appearances and maintains a 1.24 ERA—which leads the NSIC—and a .89 WHIP. Lexi Lander is also 11-3 on the season in 16 appearances, striking out 72 batters in 75.2 innings with an ERA of 1.67 and opponent batting average of .224.

Augustana is set to hit the road for a weekend trip to North Dakota where the Vikings will take on University of Mary at 12 p.m. on Saturday, April 5 and Minot State at 12 p.m. on Sunday, April 6.
