RAPID CITY, S.D. – The Augustana men's golf team finished in first place with a stroke count of 595 in the Hardrocker Spring Invite among a six-team field.
Henry Hartquist led the charge with a first-place finish after he recorded a score of 143.

How it Happened
- Hartquist finished in a tie for first place with a stroke count of 143 by way of rounds of 71 and 72. To decide a tournament winner, Hartquist edged out Montana State's Ryan Badger on the second playoff hole as he putted in a birdie. Throughout two days, he tallied six birdies through 36 holes.
- Will Allen finished inside the top three as he placed in a tie for third with Gehrig Geiss of Jamestown. Allen shot rounds of 72 and 75 for a total stroke count of 147. He manged five birdies throughout the tournament.
- Jacob Stewart continued his strong run of play with a top 10 finish as he placed in a tie for seventh among three other student-athletes. Stewart shot rounds of 73 and 78 with four birdies.
- Emmet Hansen finished in a tie for 15th after rounds of 76 and 78. He tallied two birdies in each round.
- Blake Northagen closed out the Vikings finishers in a tie for 25th after he shot rounds of 76 and 82. Northagen recorded four birdies on day one.
