BURNSVILLE, Minn. – Augustana men's golf was picked to finish fifth in the NSIC Preseason Coaches' Poll announced by the conference on Wednesday Morning. Jacob Stewart was selected as a Viking to watch. 

"I am very excited for the 2025-2026 Augustana men's golf team," said head coach Mike Krsnak. "We had an outstanding recruiting class coming in and I am very excited to add them to our returning players. We have a good mixture of youth and experience." 

Krsnak continued, "Jacob will be asked to lead the Vikings men's golf team. His senior leadership will be tested as we are a young team. Jacob is a former NSIC All Conference player as well as a USF Invite medalist from 2023. Jacob is a steady player with numerous top 10 finishes."

Stewart, The Harrisburg, South Dakota native, finished in a tie for 25th in the NSIC after an average stroke count of 75.0 in the 2024-25 season.  He was also named an All-NSIC Second Team honoree in 2023-24.
