LOUISVILLE, Ky. – Augustana softball found success both on and off the field this year, completed with 11 honorees securing 2025 Easton/NFCA All-America Scholar-Athletes distinction, the National Fastpitch Coaches Association announced on Thursday. The Vikings join more than 9,000 student-athletes honored from all levels of softball across the nation.
 
In addition to winning the NSIC Championship and Tournament Championship in the 2025 season, AU finished the season with a 50-11 record, the seventh such season of 50 or more wins under head coach Gretta Melsted.
 
Team GPAs and individual honors are submitted by NFCA member head coaches and recognize the academic prowess of softball teams across the association's membership categories.
