MOORHEAD, Minn. – The Augustana soccer team powered past Minnesota State Moorhead on Friday afternoon with four different goal scorers in AU's 5-1 win to open up conference play. 

Madelyn White opened the scoring in the seventh and ninth minute to put Augustana in front 2-0. MSUM answered back in the 43rd minute to make it a 2-1 game after 45 minutes of play. Augustana's offense exploded in the second half as Delaney Awe netted her first collegiate goal in the 60th minute. Paige Bracker and Zoey Mandery added goals of their own to put Augustana 1-0 in conference play. 

Augustana outshot Minnesota State Moorhead 35-7 with 16 shots on goal. 

White now has four goals in four games this season. Taya Baker secured her third win between the pipes with two saves on seven shots faced. Freshman Grace Katter garnered her first career assist on Mandery's goal. 24 Vikings saw action in Friday's affair.

GOAL (AU) 60' - After the Vikings recorded eight shots in the first 15 minutes of play in the second half, Awe netted her first career goal to make it a 3-1 game.

GOAL (AU) 61' - Bracker powered Augustana's second-half momentum with her first goal of the season in the 61st minute.

SAVE (AU) 68' - Sophie Thompson looked to flip the field but was denied by Baker in the 68th minute.

GOAL (AU) 82' - Mandery added her name to the scoresheet off a pass from Katter to make it a 5-1 game.
