MANKATO, Minn. – Head coach Brandon Barkus captured his 200th career win at Augustana as Viking soccer downed Central Oklahoma 3-1 Sunday afternoon. Madelyn White booted in the go-ahead goal in the 49th minute off a pass from Zoey Mandery. 

Ally Hamski opened up the scoring in the 4th minute after Augustana was awarded a penalty kick. Hamski continued her impressive day with her second to make it a two-goal lead in the 79th minute. Taya Baker made three saves to give the Vikings their first win of the season.

GOAL (AU) 4' - Augustana was awarded an early penalty kick that Hamski delivered with a well-placed shot to give the Vikings an early 1-0 lead.

GOAL (UCO) 43' - Jordan Tanges evened the score in the 43rd minute.

GOAL (AU) 49' - White opened up the second half with a bang and pushed Augustana back to a one-goal lead off an assist from Mandery.

SAVE (AU) 54' - Baker denied a shot from Caleah Carter.

SAVE (AU) 61' Baker continued to dominate the net with a save off the boot of Lauren Piper.

GOAL (AU) 79' - Hamski pushed the lead to two with her second of the game on a penalty shot.
