ST. PAUL, Minn. – Augustana men's hockey found itself well-represented on the latest CCHA Players of the Week release, with Landon Fandel and Mathis Langevin honored, league officials announced on Monday.

Fandel was named CCHA Defenseman of the Week for the first time in his career. He emerged from the weekend series against then-No. 5 Minnesota Duluth with a goal and an assist split between the two games. He struck first in the third period of Friday's 4-3 overtime win to knot things up at 2-2 before assisting on the lone Viking goal from Leo Bulgakov in Saturday's 1-1 result.

Langevin garnered CCHA Goalkeeper of the Week honors after posting a .937 save percentage over the weekend. He stopped 59-of-63 shots in his 124:48 minutes of play during the season-opening series, tallying 25 saves in Friday's win before collecting 34 stops on Saturday.

Augustana returns to the ice on Thursday for the opening half of a home-and-home weekend series against the Omaha Mavericks before hitting the road for Baxter Arena on Saturday.
