ST. PAUL, Minn.  – Josh Kotai and Easton Young have been named CCHA Players of the Week after Augustana took five of six points from then No. 15 St. Thomas, announced by the conference on Monday afternoon.

Kotai went 1-0-1 with a 1.45 goals-against average and a .957 save percentage last weekend, helping No. 18 Augustana take a critical five points from their road trip to No. 15 St. Thomas. Registering his nation-leading fifth shutout of the season, he stopped 67-of-70 shots overall, including all 28 he saw in a 4-0 win on Saturday night. On Friday, he made 35 saves in a come-from-behind 3-3 tie, before the Vikings claimed the shootout point.

Young paced CCHA blueliners with three points last week, scoring a goal and assisting on two more in a five-point weekend for No. 18 Augustana at No. 15 St. Thomas. He scored a goal in a 3-3 tie on Friday, before the Vikings went on to take the shootout point. He followed that up by assisting on a pair of tallies in a 4-0 shutout victory on Saturday. For the weekend, he totaled a +1 rating, with six shots on goal across 17:25 minutes per contest.
