SIOUX FALLS, S.D. – The Augustana hockey program announced its full 2026-27 regular season schedule Tuesday morning, including 19 games to be played at Midco Arena. In the upcoming season, AU will host three non-conference opponents, Minnesota Duluth, Omaha and Alaska Fairbanks.

Augustana had its best season in program history in 2025-26 with a record of 22-11-4, where it finished third in the CCHA with a conference record of 14-8-4. The Vikings finished with a record of 16-2-3 at Midco Arena.
Augustana will play 34 regular-season games and one exhibition game at North Dakota on October 3 to open up the season. The Vikings will host five non-conference games and will be on the road for three.
The regular season begins on October 9-10 at Midco Arena, where the Vikings will face off against Minnesota Duluth. The Bulldogs held a record of 24-15-1 and made it to the NCAA Tournament before falling to Michigan in the Albany Region Championship.
Augustana will play its first-ever Thursday night game as it hosts Omaha in a home-and-home series on October 15 and 17. The Vikings will then travel to Columbus, Ohio, and play Ohio State on October 23-24.
CCHA play begins on October 30-31 against Northern Michigan at Midco Arena. The conference stretch will last 12 games before Augustana faces it final non-conference opponent in Alaska Fairbanks at Midco Arena on December 18-19.
The second half of the season begins on January 8-9 against Michigan Tech. The Vikings will play 14 regular-season games between January and February. Augustana finishes the regular season on home ice against the reigning Mason Cup Champions, Minnesota State on February 26-27.
The Mason Cup Playoffs begin on March 5.
