SIOUX FALLS, S.D. – Augustana women's tennis was picked as the No. 1 seed in the Central Region ahead of the NCAA Tournament, announced by the NCAA selection committee Monday night.

Fresh off winning its 15th straight NSIC Tournament Championship, Augustana will face the winner of No. 4 Northwest Missouri State or No. 5 Missouri Western on Saturday, May 9. The Vikings went 10-0 in conference play and are riding a 10-match winning streak. The Vikings hold a record of 20-2. 

Preliminary rounds will be played May 8-9 at sixteen regional sites. The winning team from each site will advance to the finals, May 19-23, in Surprise, Arizona. Pacific West Conference and the City of Surprise will serve as hosts.
