SIOUX FALLS, S.D. – Augustana women's tennis was picked as the No. 1 seed in the Central Region ahead of the NCAA Tournament, announced earlier this week by the NCAA selection committee.

Preliminary rounds will be played May 8-9 at sixteen regional sites. The winning team from each site will advance to the finals, May 19-23, in Surprise, Arizona. Pacific West Conference and the City of Surprise will serve as hosts.

The Vikings
Fresh off winning its 15th straight NSIC Tournament Championship, Augustana will face the winner of No. 4 Northwest Missouri State or No. 5 Missouri Western on Saturday, May 9. The Vikings went 10-0 in conference play and are riding a 10-match winning streak. The Vikings hold a record of 20-2.

Location
The Huether Tennis Centre on Augustana's campus will host the matches. If the weather becomes a problem, matches will be played indoors at GREATLIFE Woodlake.
