The Vikings registered 13 shots, with five on target, while Southern Nazarene scored the tying goal in the second half despite managing just two shots in the match.
Ava Kowalchyk notched the only goal for Augustana, converting her sole shot into a successful attempt.
Paige Bracker contributed with an assist, adding to the team's offensive efforts.
Makenzie Nelson was active on the field with three shots, one of which was on target, demonstrating her involvement in the attack.
Ella Weide also took three shots, with two on target, further pressuring the opponent's defense.
The match started with the Vikings applying early pressure, with a corner kick within the first minute and several off-target shots, including one by
Avery Heinz at the 22nd minute and another at the 23rd minute. Southern Nazarene's defense, led by goalkeeper Madaline Bullard, blocked a close attempt from Weide in the 16th minute. Southern Nazarene secured a draw with Augustana after a second-period goal by Danika Womack in the 76th minute. The Vikings dominated the offensive opportunities throughout the period, registering multiple corner kicks and shots. Nelson and Weide each had shots on target but were denied by Southern Nazarene goalkeeper Bullard. Despite their efforts, Augustana was unable to capitalize on its chances, concluding the match with a 1-1 tie.
