Prior to the start of postseason play, tennis head coach Marc Kurtz and women’s golf head coach Peggy Kirby joined the Viking Voices podcast sponsored by Hy-Vee. In the episode, both Kurtz and Kirby talk about the challenges of this wintery spring, how they’ve been able to maintain such success over the years in addition to previewing postseason play. The Augustana women’s golf team begins postseason play on on Friday, April 20 when they head to Smithville, Mo. for the NSIC Conference Championships. The women’s tennis team also starts their conference tournament this weekend. The Vikings enter the tournament as the No. 1 seed and battle the No. 8 seed U-Mary on Saturday, April 21 at 2 p.m. from Lifetime Fitness in Minnetonka, Minn.
