Super Regional Three Golf Championships - Championships Information

Registration

Registration will take place on May 3rd from 11 a.m. – 1 p.m. at Westward Ho Country Club. Each coach will receive a tournament packet that will include all important information for the tournament.

During registration, each coach shall submit a line-up according to playing position. The five participants from each institution must be determined by the conclusion of registration. ABSOLUTELY NO substitutions will be allowed after the conclusion of registration without the approval of the tournament committee.

Carts
Golf carts will be provided for coaches and selected tournament officials only. The use of carts by any other personnel (including coaches, players and spectators) must be approved by the appropriate NCAA golf committee. If there are spectators who are permanently disabled, a tournament official will take those spectators to a spot on the course that maximizes the visibility of play and safety of the individual.

On Course Refreshments
Participants and coaches will be provided refreshments on the course during play. Coolers of bottled Dasani water and Powerade will be provided on holes #1 and #10. Additionally, there are tubs of water located every other hole. 

Emergency Procedures
In the event of an emergency, either a civil or meteorological nature, a siren will sound on the course. Participants and spectators are asked to immediately return to the clubhouse and check in with course personnel. Tournament officials will be monitoring radio, TV, and internet broadcasts for updated information. If shelter is required, golf course staff will direct people to the proper locations. In the event of massive evacuation, city and county officials will direct all evacuee’s to safety.

Spectators
Admission to the North Regional is free of charge. Spectators should remain in the cart paths or in the rough approximately 15 yards from the players. There may by NO communication between the players and the spectators that could be deemed advice of any nature during the duration of the 18 holes or on the driving range/practice greens. All institutional personnel, with the exception of the designated coach, are considered spectators. Ringers on devices must be turned off. Spectators are asked to refrain from smoking at all times. Carts will not be allowed or provided to spectators.

Tournament Banquet
The tournament banquet will take place at 6:30 p.m. on Sunday, May 4 at Westward Ho Country Club. The cost per person is $10 for participants and coaches. Fans and parents are welcome to attend and must RSVP the Augustana College Athletics Dept. by April 30. The cost for fans and families is $20 per person.

Participant Misconduct
Coaches, administrators and student-athletes should understand misconduct policies of the event.

a. First occurrence – the player will be disqualified for the day.
b. Second occurrence any time during the tournament – the player will be
disqualified for the entire championship.
