Leah Seivert will compete in the 5,000-meters after qualifying and breaking the school record with a time of 16:36.74 at the Grand Valley State Holiday Open on Dec. 4. Her time is the fifth best in the nation. Last year as a freshman she competed in the 3,000-meters and 5,000-meters at the NCAA Championship placing fifth in the 5,000-meters.  
 
 
18059Olivia Montez Brown - Heptathlon

Olivia Montez Brown will compete in the women’s pentathlon. The freshman won the Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference in the with a score of 3641. Her score is the 14th best in the nation.  Montez Brown also broke the school record in the women’s long jump with a jump of 5.51 meters at the Ted Nelson Classic on Feb. 6.
17081Ryan Heuer - 60-meter hurdles 

Ryan Heuer will be making his first appearance in the NCAA Championship in the men’s 60-meter hurdles. The senior finished second at the NSIC Championship with a time of 8.01, breaking the school recorded shared by him and Diego Oquendo. His time ranks 11th in the nation.Â
