Barkus on Ask: "Ashley is an athletic player with very good pace and acceleration, who also has a great engine and can cover ground. She also is versatile in that she can be very effective out wide or playing in the middle of the back line. Ashley's technical ability is also very good and is improving every week; she does an excellent job of traveling with the ball and attacking space on the dribble. These qualities will allow her to compete to play at a variety of positions early on. I believe Ashley's upside is tremendous and her best days are still ahead.”

At 5’ 6’ and a solid athlete, she brings both a physical and vocal presence to the position that you rarely see. She is an excellent shot stopper, she is good at dealing with crosses and she is also very comfortable building from the back with the ball at her feet. It is obvious that Jillian has all of the physical qualities, as well as the intangibles, necessary to develop into a standout goalkeeper in the NSIC and beyond.”
High School: Will graduate from O’Gorman High School in May of 2019… was the No. 1 goalkeeper in the state of South Dakota… named to the Metro Team her freshman, junior and senior seasons… was All-State First Team her freshman and senior seasons…. Barkus on Bleeker: "Dayle is a defensive midfielder that understands the game very well. She has the athleticism, technical ability and leadership potential to be a special player. Many effective holding mids are either very smart tactically, hard tacklers or great distributors of the ball. Few that play the role combine all three of those characteristics, and Dayle is certainly one of them. Her composure on the ball, in particular, will be a tremendous asset to how we build our attack. She is a perfect fit for the style we play and we look forward to Dayle being an impact player in the Northern Sun Conference.”
High School: Will graduate in May of 2019 from Bishop Heelan Catholic High School… the four year letter-winner will begin her senior season in the spring… led her team to a 12-6-1 record as a junior which gave them a state runner up title… in her first three seasons has netted a goal and five assists and looks to continue her success this spring season.

Barkus on Fehr: "Sylvia is a versatile player that sees the field very well, always plays with her head up, and is very comfortable on the ball. Her technical ability allows her to play out of tight spaces effectively, and also connect passes with accuracy and with proper weight on the ball. Her work rate, attacking mindset and high soccer IQ will help her compete for playing time in both our backline, and up top, early in her career.”
High School: The Nebraska native will graduate from Westside High School in May of 2019… her senior season starts in the spring of 2019... in her first three years she has amassed 23 goals and 20 assists… voted Max Prep Player of the Game six times… helped her team to become district champions her sophomore and junior seasons.

Barkus on Kleekamp: "Kelly is an attacking midfielder with excellent vision and a great first touch when receiving the ball. That technical proficiency allows her to play with her head up and play quickly. She is a true playmaker that looks to get the ball in seams, break pressure and create. Her work rate is very good; she's also very skilled at playing the 'final pass' in behind the opponent's back line. Kelly brings special qualities to the game and she makes players around her better. We look forward to her making an immediate impact in 2019.”

Barkus on McCullough: "Bailey brings a great combination of technical ability, athleticism and toughness. Those traits, along with her ability to cover a lot of ground, make her a well-rounded player and a perfect fit for us as a box-to-box midfielder or a flank frontrunner. Barkus on Pelton: "Katherine is an attacking player that is very comfortable on the ball, and brings a high level of craftiness to the game. She is very effective stretching the opponent with unselfish runs, but she's also very comfortable receiving the ball under pressure. Her ability to create chances through combinations, and finish chances at a high rate of efficiency, make her a constant threat. With her experience, we expect her to make an impact right away.”
High School: The Nebraska native will graduate from Marian High School in May of 2019… the four year letter-winner made three state tournament appearances... in 2016 and 2017 the Crusaders claimed the Class A Championship title and in 2018 the team went home as the Class A state runner-up.

Barkus About Young: “Ally is a player that brings a great combination of savvy and grit. She can connect passes with accuracy in tight spaces, and she can also strike a quality long ball when needed to switch the point of attack. She is always looking for the ball, and does a great job giving her teammates options when playing as a holding midfielder. Defensively, she does a very good job of understanding spacing and how to defend in a way that protects the back four. Her willingness to battle and get in on tackles will also be a great asset to our midfield.”
High School: Will graduate from Sioux Falls Christian in Sioux Falls, S.D. in May of 2019… was honored as First Team All-State, Academic All-State and the United States Coaches Senior Excellence Award… led the Chargers to a 10-4 record, which was a Sioux Falls Christian best in program history… The four year starter and four year letterwinner helped her team reach the
state championship semifinals game her senior season.
