A-Club: FAQ's

Q. What is the Augustana A-Club?
A. The mission of the Augustana A-Club is to provide financial support to Augustana University student- athletes and individual sport programs to ensure the opportunity for a life-changing academic and athletic experience for every Viking student-athlete. We work toward this mission by growing a network of passionate Vikings willing to invest in the success of our over 480 student-athletes competing in 23 sport programs.

Q: Who can be a member of the A-Club?
A: Anyone! Whether you are a former student, parent, business, or an Augustana fan, we appreciate your support of over 480 Augustana student-athletes.

Q. What is the deadline to renew my membership?
A.
 May 30 is the deadline for 2025-2026 membership and ticket benefits.

Q: What are Viking Priority Points and how are they utilized?
A: In 2019, to aid in the transition to the Sanford Pentagon, Augustana Athletics created the Viking Priority Points system to designate an equitable selection order for season tickets. Viking Priority Points will be used to determine priority for other high demand events going forward, including seat selection for Augustana men's hockey.  
How points will be tabulated and earned:
• 3 pts. per $100 lifetime giving to Augustana Athletics (including current A-Club)
• 3 pts. per $1,000 lifetime giving to Augustana University (non-athletics gifts)
• 3 pts. per consecutive years of giving to Augustana University (all gifts)
• 10 pts. per Augustana alumni
Within each A-Club membership level, seat upgrades will be determined by Viking Priority Points as of a set date to be determined. Viking Priority Points will also aid in situations where a limited availability exists. This could be access to postseason tickets, away game tickets or unique events and items. We will actively communicate with members when Viking Points are being used. 

Q. Is my membership tax-deductible?

Q. When can I become a new member of the A-Club?

Q. When are tickets distributed?

 To align with current technology trends and best practices, Augustana Athletics offers a mobile first strategy for all season tickets. Tickets are available as soon as you purchase your tickets. Please consult our Mobile Ticket Guide for more information.

Q: Can I change the location of my football or basketball season tickets?
A: After the May 30th deadline, those interested in changing the location of their season tickets will be contacted with availability and options based on Viking Points.

Q. How do I renew? Can I renew or make payments online?
A.
 You can renew by logging into your online account at www.GoAugie.edu/tickets. Payment plans are also available. For more information on payment plans, please contact Chris Kaufman at Christopher.kaufman@augie.edu or 605.274.5203.

Q: Can I donate directly to a specific team?
A: Yes, on your form or online renewal, you can indicate if you would like your membership to be designated to a particular sport. To support all 21 programs, simply leave that part blank. Memberships without a designation make the biggest impact and allow Augustana to direct your support where it is needed most.

Q. What are other ways to give and support Augustana Athletics?
A. Whether it's scholarships, direct program support or facilities, please contact us. Corporate sponsorships are also a great way to show your support for the Vikings.
