Augustana University Athletics

Kyle Johnson enters his fourth year as an assistant athletic trainer at Augustana in 2015-16. Johnson will primarily work with the soccer, wrestling and baseball teams at Augustana. 

Johnson, a native of Hartford, S.D., spent two years as a graduate assistant athletic trainer at Southwest Minnesota State University in Marshall, Minn., where he obtained his master’s degree in sports leadership. 

At SMSU, Johnson was an athletic trainer for the football and softball teams and assisted with women’s basketball. Johnson is a graduate of South Dakota State University with a degree in athletic training/sports medicine.

Johnson resides in Sioux Falls with his wife Jen.
