Jared Powell is in his second year as a graduate assistant for the Augustana baseball program in 2012.
Powell began his collegiate baseball career playing two seasons for current Augustana head coach Tim Huber at Dakota County Technical College in Rosemount, Minn. During his time at DCTC, he batted .336, tallied eight home runs and 21 doubles, while also accumulating 59 RBIs. Powell then transferred to the University of Arkansas at Little Rock.
Powell earned his associates degree from Inverhills Community College in 2007 and his bachelor's degree in health science from UALR in 2009.
Powell is currently living in Sioux Falls and working on his master's in sports administration and leadership at Augustana.
